Indian traditional science of vital energy, Ayurveda, scientifically recognized in India for its effectiveness, integrates pure knowledge and applied sciences that improve the longevity and quality of life. As an Open University, Tapovan proposes many courses in Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Dietetics, Ayurvedic Cuisine, Ayurveda and Maternity, Hatha-yoga, Ayurvedic Massage
and Yoga of eyes.
Most of the courses are taught in French, some are in English translated in French and the diploma in Ayurvedic Healthcare is in English only

AYURVEDIC HEALTH CARE (DAH)
Diploma in Ayurvedic Health care (DAH) is the first professionally accredited programme based on the curriculum supplied by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, India, and is recognised as one of the leading therapist training programmes in ayurvedic medicine. It offers the student a comprehensive and integrated curriculum, combining ayurvedic wisdom and understanding with modern medical science as recommended by the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners’ Association (EHTPA). WOMEN in AYURVEDA
The woman is the symbol of the Energy, She is called Shakti in India or Isis in the ancient Egypt. Woman is the driving force and her beauty, her well-being and her health, from all the stages from adolescence until menopause and even later have many descriptions in Ayurveda. The week will be dedicated to the in-depth study of the subject with appropriate practices of yoga. <>The health of mankind depends on the health of Earth, the Nourishing earth. With an internal ecology and an outside ecology, we shall learn this new dimension which is a main vector of the development of women and the future mankind. Ayurvedic dietetics (Ahara vijnana)
Ahara vijnana means: the science of the food In the light of Ayurvéda. In all Traditions and systems of natural care, The food plays an essential role which allows To restore the balance of the body. We shall study: The benefactions of every type of food on the health - The science and the alchemy Of the transformation(processing) of food - Compatibility of food between them- Choice of food according to doshas - Contribution of the dietetics ayurvédique Case of health problems - Study of the science of spices, herbs and plants- The vegetarianism - Courts(Yards) of booking(kitchen) ayurvédique - Case studies - Food(Supply) Specific - Dravyaguna (study of every plant according to its qualities and Properties). Ayurvedic vegetarian cuisine
Traditionally, in India, are defined the subtle principles, vibratory, energy, gustative, nourishing quality, allied in Virtues of spices, in the respect for five elements, in the harmony of colors and in the attitude in front of the food. We shall study the theoretical aspects and naturally, we shall put into practice them, by making complete meals And varied with products of biological base. Every week can be separately followed within the framework of one Training course of discovery. It can be then validated for the formation of ayurvedic cuisine. Within the framework of the training, it is not necessary to follow Modules in the order, but it is advised to begin with the module of the foundations of Ayurveda to have better concepts of the ayurvedic cooking . Cooking for health (sun. 20 hours to sat.9 hours) in May 29th on June 4th, 2011 . Acceptance-test gourmet (sat.20 hours to the sat.9 hours) 16 on July 23rd, 2011 490 € (animation / training course) and 190 € (meal / training course).
AYURVEDIC ANATOMY
The human body is a scientific and aesthetic miracle and a marvel. The study of anatomy is as fundamental and imperative for the study of Indian massage as for Ayurveda or yoga, whatever the basic discipline you choose to do. We propose two methods of teaching: distance learning to study by yourself at your own pace or at the centers, during weekends. A course in anatomy is greatly advised for massage students as this subject is on exams. This seminar validates the module B of Ayurveda. Anatomy (100h) Dr Reji Thomas 2 formulas: • In Paris (Ayurvedic approach) Fundamentals of anatomy-physiology (Manorama Mulin) 13th and 14th March 2010 Ayurvedic anatomy physiology (Dr Reji Thomas) 27th and 28th March and 17th and 18th April 2010 Saturday 2pm to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm 390 € (classes) – possibility to attend weekends à la carte (190 €/WE) • Distance learning (western approach) 140€ TThe first course as well as a (MCQ) multiple choice questionnaire will be sent as soon as the application is received. When the completed MCQ is received, it is corrected and sent with the next course.
